Poor delivery protection 1 Year, 1 Month ago
|
|
|
I thought I'd give a little feedback.
I have noticed the packaging for my subscription delivery seems inadequate to protect the magazine. Thus far every issue has been damaged by poor packaging or rough handling including the recently delivered Varian issue.
I regualrly recieve magazines from around the world and orders from ebay and all arrive in pristine condition - except this magazine.
Really, its a shame. The high end finish is ruined by what I end up recieving.

Dear Mr.Carr,
I'm sorry to hear this. First of all, we will of course replace any magazines that have arrived unacceptably damaged. I have to say this is a rare complaint that hardly cropped up during the recent distribution quality surveys of issues II.6 and III.1. Nevertheless, we're always open to suggestions for improvement.

I'm with Peter Carr. My Varian issue came damaged too. It's not big damage so it's all ok. I just wanted to say that issues i bought a month ago came in hard package and they were very well preserved.

I'm now talking to our distributor to see what the implications and options are of using a heavier sealing bag.

Agreed, the last issue I got was quite dog eared but otherwise ok.
