JRMES Print

On behalf of Dr.Mike Bishop, we're polling interest in a (re-)launch of the academic Journal of Roman Military Equipment Studies (JRMES).

Likely subscription rate will be approx. 45€ = c.£37 = c.US$55 = c.Can$ 59.

Remember, you are not just buying a product, as was the case with JRMES  in the past, but becoming a part of a society that will use any surplus money to fund additional publications, give grants towards conferences and conference attendance and aim to do anything that furthers the cause of the study of Roman military equipment.

If you already voted at Romanarmytalk, it is NOT necessary to express your interest here as well.

Would a society membership include access to JSTOR in any fashion? I would be doubly inclined to join a society that provided access to JSTOR.

I have been a subscriber to JREMS since its outset and also to ARMA. I would be very pleased to see the return of both. Is there any chance that, if the new subscription to JRMES gets off the ground, ARMA will be resurrected as well?
