| Ancient Warfare Newsletter April 2008 |
|
Dear [NAME], This email has been sent to [EMAIL]. If it was not meant for you, please refer to the instructions at the bottom of this newsletter.
Issue II-2 Ancient Warfare II-2 (April/May) is expected back from the printer any day now. We hope and believe our sixth issue will be better than ever! It contains articles about 'Heroic Defeat' and 'the Battle of Sellasia', the question of whether Roman auxiliary units had catapults and much more. More info at Ancient-Warfare.com . Podcasts We have recently recorded our second podcast wherein I discuss the theme of Victory and Defeat with several of this issue's authors. It will be released just around the middle of this month. This is another 'conference call', but as we announced earlier, we are looking at other forms of podcast as well. One idea we have pitched in our online poll is the answering of reader's questions. The results seem promising, but I do need some questions to answer. So send them in!
Renewals Issue II-2 is the last issue for subscribers that started their subscription with I.1 (June/July 2007). Your subscription will run out automatically afterwards and you will get no more issues. If you want to renew, go to www.ancient-warfare.com and buy a one or two year (best deal!) renewal in our shop. A renewal can be bought at any time and will automatically add one or two years onto your current subscription. We will soon add a link to your account information that shows when your subscription runs out.
Usernames I regularly get emails from readers who forgot their account username for ancient-warfare.com. In almost all cases, your username is exactly the same as the email address you used to register at the site. If you forgot your password, simply click the 'Lost password' link on the login page, fill out your username and email address and a new password will be sent to you. Of course, if you have any questions or need further assistance, let us know.
Kind regards, Jasper Oorthuys Editor, Ancient Warfare
